Year 6 IPC

Hopefully you have seen some of the IPC home learning tasks coming home and your children have shared their learning with you. In IPC we are focusing on comparative geography. We are learning about Malaysia and comparing it to other countries.

This week and next, we will be honing our map reading skills. Pupils will be using atlases and locating places using latitude and longitude. They will also learn about features of different parts of the Earth.

The children have been looking at different buildings, landscapes and cultural places and discussing how they can identify where they are from. The knowledge they have shared with one another has been wonderful. Students created topographical maps, showing key features of our focus countries. Have a look!
