Week 6th-10th March

Thank you

I just wanted to take the chance to say a big thank you to all the parents for my birthday cake this week! It really made my birthday feel special with the children. Thank you a lot!  Miss Murphy

The children also celebrated Ashton’s birthday on 8th March 2017.

The Curriculum

This week the children have been busy continuing their station work related to our IPC topic of ‘Our Earth, our home’. They have been busy learning about:

1) Food chains
2) Different insects- and their features.
3) Identifying the differences between living and non living.
4) How to care for a pet.
5) What is photosynthesis?
6) Sentence substitution.

Please have a look at the children in their stations. They have been all working so hard!

In Maths this week, the children have started learning about ‘Money’ . They have been making different amounts of money by using combinations of ringgits and cents to make different prices.

The children have made so much progress in swimming and it is a joy to hear how much they are all enjoying their lessons. The last swimming lesson will take place next Friday 17th March.
