This week in Mandarin we have been focused at the poem《我多想》. Children have memorised the poem and recited it in groups using their excellent creativity. To enhance our learning in this topic children also need to imitate the poem 《我多想》and create their own version which they need to present in groups.

Children could practise their vocabulary through the link below for enhancing their learning.

This week in Chinese class, children have been reading the text 方向 (Directions). We have learnt new vocabularies, such as 、方向、面、太阳、东南西. During the lessons, we were focusing on reading long sentences and character writing practice. We also learnt naming the directions in Mandarin. On top of that, we had learned to use the compass to find classroom position.

This week in Chinese the children have continued learning 《你住在哪里?》(Where do you live?). We practiced sentence pattern and answering question in class. Apart from that, the children also did sentence pattern as homework to have a better understanding. Moreover, we did a fun reading activity where the girls read the questions and the boys answered and vice versa. In the exercise book, the children made sentences using 我(I/Me), 他(he), and 老师(teacher) and writing 公园(park) and 医院(hospital). The children drew beautiful pictures of the park and the hospital at the bottom of their writing.Well done!
